New Book Available NOW

What. A. Whirlwind. Week. That’s right- my new book is available now. There is so much going on, I’ll begin with the above video. This video is a quick synopsis of the building of my book. From early journaling pages, collections of notes on server tickets and random notepads and napkins or paperbags, to transcribing it all, to the first proof. And yes- that book of my actual handwriting is indeed charred and burned. It, along with a stack of my other journals (and cat and all people thankfully), survived an apartment fire caused by faulty wiring in an appliance. My Joni Mitchell record was displayed on the shelf behind the journals, fell forward and melted all over the stack…the vinyl, coating and hardening over the journals. The proof copy of my first book, “Intimate Nuances : Poems for the Meant”, has arrived. 140ish pages of poetry, lyrics, art, quotes, all in neat sections (and mostly relatable). This compilation is a Volume 1, and sifting through it began as a part of my ongoing process for writing “The Healing Heart Series”. I didn’t realize how much I had written over the years, until transcribing it from the journals. The real battle was to not totally edit those words from the mouth of the me that said what she said. She crafted them. I’m her editor, only. Even if that’s not entirely me now. And it’s okay, because on the whole, it makes sense. I feel like we might all have that in common. Change is the constant. Growth and expansion. Perpetual chrysalis transitions. It’s a clear trajectory; learning to “know thyself”, to understand, allow, reflect, enact boundaries, transmute, and unconditionally love self and others (albeit sometimes from a distance). Hardcover Release Date The plan is that it will be available to purchase this fall, with the Hardcover release set for 8.20.25. So stay tuned for the announcement of upcoming Author events. There will be pre-sales, speaking/excerpts, Q…
